Hidehiko Masuhara

Hidehiko Masuhara is a Professor of Mathematical and Computing Science, School of Computing, Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Institute of Technology.) He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Department of Information Science, the University of Tokyo in 1992, 1994, and 1999, respectively, and served as an assistant professor, lecturer, and associate professor at Department of Graphics and Computer Science, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo from 1995 until 2013. He was the Dean of the School of Computing of Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2022 until 2024.

Research

His research interest is programming languages, especially on aspect- and context-orientd programming, partial evaluation, computational reflection, meta-level architectures, parallel/concurrent computing, and programming environments.
