Sixteen Poster Presentations at PPL2025

We presented the following 16 posters at the JSSST Workshop on Programming and Programming Languages (PPL2025) at Gamagori, Aichi.

A Journal Paper on Vython, a Programming Language with Dynamic Version Checking

A paper entitled “Dynamic Version Checking for Gradual Updating”, authored by Kasuya, Tanabe and Masuhara was accepted by the IPSJ Transactions on Programming /  Journal of Information Processing.

The paper is based on the work presented at APLAS 2024 and PPL 2024, and IPSJ-PRO workshop.

Kasuya’s IPSJ PRO Workshop Talk on Vython Version Programming Language

Kasuya gave a talk on a version programming language based on Python at the 152nd IPSJ Workshop on Programming (PRO2024-4).

This work is a sequel of the previous two presentations at APLAS 2024 SRC & Posters and PPL 2024.

Kasuya Won Audience Award from APLAS 2024 SRC Posters

Kasuya won the Audience Award of the student research competition posters at APLAS 2024.

Kasuya’s Poster Presentation on Vython Version Programming at APLAS

 

Kasuya’s work on version programming was accepted by the Student Research Competition and Posters track at the 22nd Asian Symposium on Programming Languages and Systems (APLAS 2024). His poster was presented at the symposium from October 21st to 25th.  Though he could not proceed to the final round, his poster won the Audience Award.

PPL 2024 Presentation on “Compilation Semantics for a Programming Language with Versions”

Yudai Tanabe’s work on “Compilation Semantics for a Programming Language with Versions”, co-authored with Luthfan Anshar Lubis, Tomoyuki Aotani, and Hidehiko Masuhara is accepted by and presented at the 26th JSSST Workshop on Programming and Programming Languages (PPL2024), Category 2 This is a previously published paper presented at APLAS 2023 in Taiwan last November.

Five of our members presented their bachelor’s theses.

APLAS 2023 Paper on Compiling a Version Programming Language

A paper entitled “Compilation Semantics for a Programming Language with Versions”, authored by Tanabe, Luthfan, Aotani and Masuhara is accepted by the 21st Asian Symposium on Programming Languages and Systems (APLAS 2023), which is held in Taipei, Taiwan on November 2023. The paper proposes a method of compiling the VL version programming language, which was proposed in our previous work.
