Presentations on Voice-Based Programming and Distributed Reactive Programming at PX/26

There are two presentations at the Programming Experience Workshop (PX/26), colocated with the Programming Symposium (<Programming> 2026) at Munich, Germany.

The presentation by Omar and Masuhara is based on the work that Omar did with our group when we stayed as an international visiting student. The work proposes a programming language and a development environment for “voice-based programming”, where programming activities are taken place only with voice, without relying on keyboard and screen.

The presentation by Kamina et al. proposes a language mechanism for reactive and distributed programming by means of surrogates. This is based on the collaborative research with Kamina’s group at Oita University and Dr. Aotani at Sanyo-Onoda City University.
